Anies Met Mayor of Bogor City Discussing Inter-regional Cooperation

Monday (2/12), Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan met Bogor City Mayor, Bima Arya at the Bogor City Mayor Office, Jalan Ir Haji Juanda, Bogor, West Java.

We need to have dialogue often because we need each other

The meeting discussed some inter-regional cooperation plans that need to be made between Jakarta and Bogor.

Anies stated that it was the first time he met Bogor Mayor since he served as the governor. Besides strengthening silaturahmi (get together), there were many things that can be discussed to overcome various problems with preventive measures.

"We're here to make silaturahmi and review the Katulampa Sluice Gate, as well as open a new chapter of cooperation, he expressed, Monday (2/12).

He assessed that the inter-regional meetings in the cooperation of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Cianjur (Jabodetabekjur) should be done routinely. Thus, synergy and collaborative collaboration could be realized well.

"We need to have dialogue often because we need each other," he told.

Bogor City Mayor, Bima Arya uttered that he highly appreciated the visit of Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan. One of the focused discussion was how to reduce floodwaters potential from the upstream.

"This is a common problem, I am grateful that Mr. Anies came to stay in touch. This will be a momentum to further strengthen cooperation," he said.
